Senator Alexander: Please schedule a Town Hall Meeting in Tennessee
For many Tennesseans, requests to meet with their Senators about issues important to them have been met with basic form letters, or no response at all.
The people of Tennessee deserve responses from those they elected to represent them in the United States Senate. We ask that Senator Alexander schedule an in person Town Hall meeting, where he can meet with and hear from the people of Tennessee so that they may voice their concerns and questions.
Our colleagues at Volunteer Voices for Action (an organizing group for Tennesseans by Tennesseans whose aim is to elevate the voices of folks back home by taking their concerns, fears, and questions directly to our members of Congress) will be hand delivering this petition to Senator Alexander next week. Please submit your responses by Monday, June 12, 2017, to be included in the delivery.
You can make a difference, and there's no better time than now to join this grassroots movement of Tennesseans who are holding our elected officials accountable for the ways their policies severely impact the state's vulnerable and marginalized populations.
